Finally

I've been so busy these last few days! On Friday I babysat "Never Not Knitting's" little girl, and then I spent the rest of the day with my BF LoLo, then I spent the night at her house. When I got back, I immediately went to Target and finally got Animal Crossing Wild World for my Nintendo D.S. When I got back, My big sister took me to a going away party, and then I went to bed. Phew. So today I am finally blogging again. I have a terrible ear infection, so today all I did was watch TV on my computer, and work on a puzzle. And obviously blog and eat and all that stuff. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures today, but tomorrow if I'm feeling better I'll find the camera and upload the picture of Audrey's purse. But, that's all for today, my ear is throbbing and I want to make fun of the free items on Craig's List. Hehe.

Impulsive Sewing

I spent yesterday making a barbie dress. It was kind of random. I just got the urge to sew. I made it out of some ran over fabric from the garage. It's really nice fabric. It's white with red, yellow, blue, and green stripes. I made the top piece first, and it fit fine, but I had to rip the stiches on the side so I could sew all the pieces together. So, When I finished it looked like this...

Looks fantastic! But, unfortunately, when I sewed the sides of all the pieces, the top piece wouldn't fit anymore, and the middle piece was worse. I only made it half way up her hips.

Today though, I tried making a skirt. When I first made it, the front was the outside of the fabric, and the back was the inside. But, thanks to my trusty seamripper, I finished it. It was my first finished sewing project, made only by me. Here is my model, Chelsea, showing off her new look.

Not a particularly exciting day

Today was so smokey! at first I thought it might rain, the clouds were so dark! But, I went outside to go in my tree house and it smelt like someone was BBQing. Bang goes that theory!

So, I got up this morning and felt like drawing. I guess Mom really likes the clothes I draw, because she asked me to photo copy my entire collection! And then later today, I set up an extra sewing machine in our sewing room and finished up my purse for Audrey!

I'm so glad I finally got an actual blog! I've had a tripod website for the longest time. So on this blog I'm going to do the same thing as my website. I'm going to post new superhero feats, new drawings of my made up superhero, Sky Girl, and anything interesting in my life.
